I am a Czech-Finnish singer-songwriter.
I enjoy making songs about people and for people.
Almost every song I've ever written is dedicated to someone in particular.
In my world, a song is a gift and a message.
I deeply relate to other people's stories. Since I was little, I discovered that everytime something major happened to people I cared about, I started writing a song to make them feel better, to help them deal with their struggle or to celebrate a great moment in their lives. That's how I wrote for example most of the songs from my first album. Miners is about a friend who had to deal with psychological abuse, I wrote Telepathy for someone who had been bullied at work etc.
Last year I offered composing songs for people whom I didn't know, and it worked out great.
That's how I got into making custom songs.
This is unique: people can order songs that I write for their loved ones. It can be a song of appreciation, encouragement, a song to comemorate a certain important moment or just a little tune for fun.
What have I been doing?
Mostly you will see me perform solo, rocking it out on the piano, playing a bit of kazoo.
Occasionally I play with different quartet set-ups.
My second album is on its way into the world, due to be released during this year.
I was able to record this album thanks to a succesfull crowd-sourcing campaign.
So far I've composed 4 custom songs for contributors of this campaign.
During spring and summer I had some gigs in Finland and did an acoustic quartet tour in the Czech Republic.
Later that year I started working on my second album.
My debut album Doses was released in Germany by ZeitART Music.
I toured a lot and played gigs in the most bizzarre of places, including a lorry :-)
I toured Finland, Czech Republic, Austria and Slovakia with my acoustic quartet and solo
I got a recording deal and made my first album in Helsinki. I started having more live gigs and performed songs that had been waiting in the drawer for ten years :-)
I toured Finland solo and with the band Jaakko Laitinen & Väärä Raha for whom I also composed.
